•While everyone looks forward to the birthday cake at a party, not everything needs to be loaded with sugar, fat, salt, artificial colours and flavours, to signify a celebration.
•Reduce or eliminate “junk food” items.
•Healthy, homemade, tasty, colourful food options are far more rewarding for us all.
•Incorporate lots of fruit and vegetables. And, instead of chips, try homemade popcorn made on the stove/via an air popper.
•And remember… when it comes to drinks, choose mainly WATER or a fruit cocktail / smoothie served straight from your blender!
